Black Cohosh (Cimifuga Racemosa)comes from North America and has already been used as a medicinal plant in Indian culture. The main ingredients in grape candles are phytoestrogens, triterpenes and flavonoids. They are supposed to stimulate the skin's own production of hyaluronic acid and thereby have a stabilizing effect on the skin's moisture content.
Urea
natural moisturizing factor. Urea splits the hydrogen bonds in the protein chains of the keratin and, in low concentrations, facilitates the binding of the water by keratin. This makes the skin smooth and supple. In higher concentrations, urea has a horn-loosening effect and facilitates peeling of the epidermis.
