is a naturally occurring amino sugar in the human body. It stimulates the synthesis of the skin's own moisturizing factor hyaluronic acid. As a component of the skin, this is important for its water balance. Aminosugars can bind large amounts of moisture, which has a positive effect on the skin. Glucosamine improves skin moisture and gently supports the exfoliation of skin flakes, which refines the complexion.
